This year is dead!!! – Happy and Healthy New Year!

31. December 2006 at 3:55 pm (General Stuff)

gameoverHolla, this year is dead :-)
I can tell you, it has been a hard but fruity year, especially the last months, when we ran from bank to bank to get the money for the condominium. But now all looks very fine and the next year can come and hopefully it will bring lots of fun, luck and money *g*
I think it will be a busy year or at least the first month will be busy. We have to plan the move into the new apartment which will probably happen in april, perhaps in may. I think it will be a lot of work for us to plan the condominium, you know colors, floors, decorations and such stuff. Also we surely have to help my sister – from whom we bought the condominium – with getting her new house ready in time, since we can move only, when she has moved into her new house. :-)
Also in may good friends of us will have a big marriage, we will attend to and after that some other good friends of us, will give birth to their first heir. Then the first half of the year will have been gone and I bet there will be much other things to do then – especially caring for our new garden and my bonsais *g*.
I don’t know what the rest of the year will bring for us, but I am sure it will be mostly good.
So, I wish all of you who read my blog, a similar Happy and Healthy 2007, as we expect to have.

Take care and don’t ride the rockets at midnight :-)

My first Bonsais!

29. December 2006 at 5:20 pm (Bonsai, General Stuff)

well well, Christmas 2006 is gone… gosh… what a pity… not :-)
Oh, don’t get me wrong. I like xmas… especially all the eating and the full belly and the presents *eg*

hmm speaking about presents… my wife had a good idea for me this year. She gave me my first bonsai tree. I always loved those little trees since I love the way they are arranged. They are little artworks and they need a lot of love and care, that’s sure, but on the other hand it doesn’t seem too difficult to care for them.

Well, I will try my best on the first two I now have. Two? Yes, two. After the xmas present of my wife, we went out today to take a visit at a local bonsai shop to get some informations about the handling and the care such a little tree needs. No wonder we ended up, buying another bonsai then. I took a foto from both – see them somewhere here in this post :-)

Bonsai is art, that’s for sure, and I am looking forward to grow up some different bonsais by myself in the future. I also like to set up our new garden (I told you that we bought a condominium with a huge garden) in a japanese (asian) style with “Feng Shui” influences and in that I also like to have some beautiful looking putdoor bonsais or little bonsai woods. Okay okay, I am aware that this will need time and much care, but I believe it would be a beautiful, peaceful and also cool garden when it is set up at the end.

Here are my first two bonsais. The first one is the one my wife gave me for xmas, the other one is the small one I bought today in the bonsai shop. Number One is a kind of figtree, while number two is a so called Legustrum.

and now… merry Xmas from me too… :-)

24. December 2006 at 9:42 am (General Stuff)

okay, short and fast some lines. I want to wish you all – in fact I mean you few – who read my blog, a very special Christmas. After the Cthulhu-Thing here my personal wishes.

okay okay, nothing special, but I like those kobolds – plus: the kobold reminds me of the monsters who will visit us this christmas eve for dinner (I am talking about my own and my wife’s family *eg*) and who will eat up our complete pantry. Nevertheless it will be another fine and funny eve: same procedure than every year, I guess… well, I can’t await the presents I’ll get… :-)

Well, I hope you all have fun, a full belly and lots of presents too… see you soon!

The Killers Xmas Song… Fantastic!

19. December 2006 at 6:51 pm (General Stuff)

Killers_xmas

Well, everybody knows how much I like “The Killers” and their music. Good for me, they are not quiet, even though they are touring the world. Last week they presented there first-ever Christmas song and though it sounds a bit unusual for a xmas song, it is still very very good.

You can listen and watch the video on their website. The Link is: TheKillersMusic.com
If the link doens’t function right, just go to www.thekillersmusic.com and then under Music you will find the videos.

Have Fun listen to it and watch the funny video clip.

Santa is coming… soon :-)

6. December 2006 at 11:17 pm (Uncategorized)

HomeSweetHome

  • Aye, it is time again… Santa Clause is near. In fact in germany Santa should be here today, since he always arrives a little bit earlier here in Germany (no wonder, he has to travel all the way to USA from here, and that takes a while on sledge *g*).
  • Well, 6th of december means nothing more, I guess, than getting tons of chocolate, marzipans and nuts… yum yum… very tasty *rubbingmybelly*

What’s new here? Well, nothing special I guess. Okay, last monday we finally signed the sales contract for the condominium at the notary. I told you about this in my last entry.

Now I am sitting here suffering, beacuse I have to watch this damned documentation about the soccer world cup 2006 here in germany. Arrrrgggghhh, by the GREAT OLD ONES, by Cthulhu itself, I HATE SOCCER….

Hmmm, speaking about Cthulhu and the Great Old Ones: I finally began reading the “Hexer von Salem” series written by the famous german author Wolfgang Hohlbein. The series definetely isn’t new, but I have been told, that it is a really good series, especially if one likes H.P. Lovecraft and Cthulhu stories. I can tell, I like them, no I love them and I must admit that I am really deep into this first collectors book of the “Hexer” Saga (sorry I don’t know what the english title is like).

okay enough for now: FHTAGN!!!! ;-)
